PERUGINO Collection: The Perugino pattern is an Artistica's exclusive. It was inspired by the Deruta's classic Raffaellesco a design that traces his origins from the XVI Century graceful arabesques of painter Raphael famous frescoes. Raffaellesco is a benevolent deity, bestowing good luck and fair winds to the seagoing merchants of the era.

MAJOLICA Collection: This masterpiece truly reflect the expertise of the Italian “Mastri-Ceramisti”, who have spent the last five centuries perfecting the tin-glazed earthenware that is today called Majolica. This beautifully executed product was created using the “Ingobbio” technique, the ancient Tuscan process that gives such an authentic “Old World” look, while adding much greater body to the colors. You can actually feel the consistent (almost raised) body of the painting when gently passing your hand over the decorated parts. Due to the complexity of both preparation and painting, this technique is now used by very few artisans, which makes these items very hard to find.

These items portray fruits, colors, and flowers typical of the Tuscan countryside with a contemporary touch given by a light blue mesh design created in the background by the artist himself Andrea, from which this collection was named after. While the pattern décor was recently created by the artist, all vessels shapes were meticulously researched in ceramic history books - WATER TIGHT: Artistica’s Ceramics are fully glazed inside and out, making them water-tight and leak-free.
